Some are left with deep stretch marks in the abdomen, while others have drooping, empty breasts, and yet others experience stretched or damaged labia. Common combinations of surgeries performed by Mr Khoda focus on the tummy and breasts, for example a breast uplift combined with a tummy tuck. Labiaplasty, breast reduction and liposuction are also very popular with our patients in Marylebone.

FAQ’s

Though most women choose a combination of procedures that focus on the breasts and tummy area, Mr Khoda works with each patient to understand their needs and goals, and helps them decide on the right combination of surgeries for them. These include:

As is ideal for all surgery, we ask that you achieve a stable and healthy weight, and follow a good, nutritious diet. Plan your recovery well – reduce any stress by making arrangements for post-surgical support you might need in advance. Consult with Mr Khoda to discuss your options and concerns, and weigh carefully his advice and the information provided on surgical risks versus potential rewards.

The length of the procedure depends on the surgeries chosen, but usually sits in the 2-4 hour range. You will be advised on surgery duration during your consultation, and most patients require a single night’s stay in hospital.

Again, this depends entirely on the procedures chosen. Mr Khoda will ensure you are fully advised and able to prepare for recovery well in advance of surgery. Avoid heavy lifting or strenuous exercise for 6 weeks. Gentle showers are fine and compression garments must be worn for 6 weeks.

All surgeries can lead to complications, but Mr Khoda works in a safe and consistent manner to minimise any risks. He uses the non-touch technique, avoiding skin contact with any part of the wound or any substance or surface that will come into contact with the wound, such as the inner surface of dressings. The most common complications with surgery are bleeding, haematomas, infection, numbness, alteration in nipple sensation, and the need to return to theatre for further procedures. Surgery also presents a risk of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.

Specific risks associated with a mummy makeover depend on the surgeries chosen. Mr Khoda will advise you accordingly.
